Coach Remy Roberts-Burnett | Head Trainer and Director of Basketball Operations
Originally from Joliet, Coach Remy played 3 years of varsity basketball at Joliet West High School under Coach Luke Yaklich, who is now the head coach of University of Illinois-Chicago. During his 14u season, Coach Remy met owner and founder of M14Hoops Matt Miller who trained him throughout his HS and college.
After high school, Coach Remy played 4 years of division 1 basketball at Western Illinois University. His sophomore year, he helped his team win a conference championship.
In 2015, Remy started his career at M14hoops as a jr trainer. Remy quickly rose through the ranks within the M14 staff and earned a full time position 2018. Since then Coach Remy has trained and developed 100's of players both boys and girls of skill levels. Coach Remy’s dream has always used his experiences and lessons taught as a basketball player to help players achieve their dreams. He is an outstanding coach and member of the M14 staff.

FOUNDER OF M14HOOPS
Miller grew up in Aurora, IL and played basketball collegiately and professionally in England, Bosnia, Germany and for Rwanda's national team. On September 23rd, 2009 Matt started M14Hoops. The company was founded on the principles of hard work, dedication, teamwork and dreaming big! His love and dedication to bringing basketball into children's lives shows in how he runs the company and manages his coaches.
By 2014, M14Hoops was the #1 company for player development in the western suburbs. The company had grown to training over 500 players annually. In 2018, M14Hoops Basketball Academy officially opened in Aurora, IL. M14Hoops Chicagoland increased their ability to develop basketball players by starting teams as well as offering speed, agility, and strength training. The facility offers complete player development both on and off the court.
M14Hoops now is the largest basketball development brand in Illinois and now has locations in 10+ states and multiple cities throughout the US!
